Hi... I received your book a couple of days ago and love it. I'm already working on the ribbed vneck sweater, and posted a very happy review on Amazon about the book. I'm really glad to know you have another one coming up... what fun!
Don't let the diet and weight thing get you down. Or the age crap. Keep on feeling young for your age, as that's the best defence against most stuff. Really. I had a simiilar but non'op experience with weight. The important thing is not to obsess, and you'll find your natural weight.
thanks for the lovely book,,,,,

Um. I can't figure out how to contact you to submit errata for Fitted Knits so I'm doing it here. On the Spicy Fitted it seems the extra stitch is on the wrong side in line one (6 vs 7 for the small size).

Totally feel your pain on the diet thing. When 33, I was about 80 pounds due to illness., told I was the skinny type! After diagnosis was given steroids put on a further 98 pounds! Now told 'my age' lack of exercise blah blah although I do more now than I did when I was seriously unwell. Now the docs say it is nothing to do with all the internal things I have that are failing and my doc denies me ever having been thin although won;t look back on in the records to confirm it! Have had such a horrendous time with health now sit here worrrying about getting old and relying on care from the health services with no kids to look out for me. Yep.illness can = identity sometimes, cannot help it. However, try not to mention on my blog cos lost kntting work by doing so!

You can send any feedback to stefanie[at]glampyre[dot]com - it should forward it to the right place. If it doesn't please let me know!

Amazing, that project shelf is. I for one am excited to see the new and upcoming projects on your needles. Yes, it is kinda weird to see your knits on someone else, as you said, but they're still you. I too am glad to hear that you're writing another book. Mine has not yet arrived but I'm very much looking forward to it!

I just got the book and I absolutely LOVE IT! I sent you an email with some specific (all raving!) feedback and a question, not knowing that the comment function was working on the blog. I thought I'd mention it as I sent it to the email address that was used to send my receipt for a pattern order and wasn't sure if it was still a good address.

The stash pics are interesting and I am so glad to hear you are going to do another book. I'll pre-order that one as soon as Amazon will let me!

Good luck with the dietary changes. My naturopath has me on Eskimo 3 Fish Oil, says it is the best. Something about mercury.. Anyway, loved the pics of your stash!
