Spring Break is OVER « »

I started doing our taxes yesterday…and even with Turbo Tax…doing taxes sucks. Next year, I’m hiring a CPA. And that’s not an idle threat! :)

    It’s a coverup job. There was another tattoo under the bigger bird, and it had been bothering me (just ugly) for the last few years.

    It doesn’t really have any big significance. I was thinking of getting one of the traditional sparrows like the old sailors wold get in the 40s, but then I decided that I like the silhouette / shadow better. The simplicity of the all-black was appealing.

    I was just going to do the one, and I told Eddie that I’d like to see what having a couple smaller ones looked like, then decide whether to get more…and he said, “Forget that! There’s no seeing how it looks…just do it.” So I ended up with the three.

    F.ing RAD tattoo.
    I have a deep and unexplainable love of almost all images of birds. Especially flying birds. I have been known to buy stuff simply because there was a flying bird printed on it. If I ever get a tattoo it will be a cormorant.
    Needless to say I think your tattoo is great.
