We did the author photos for Glam Knits today at Ron Hamilton Photo in Cincinnati, and also shot one of the garments for the book!
It was so fun, and after talking to Amanda and meeting Ron and Nora (I’m in constant contact with Jessica)…I’m SO SO looking forward to seeing Glam Knits. We talked a lot about the vision for the book, and it’s going to be beautiful. This book is in the best of hands.
A weird coincidence…we took a walk through the mall after an awesome lunch with the whole F&W Craft team (sales, editorial, art, PR…) and ran into the stylist from Fitted Knits! Totally random and wonderful.

Bought your Fitted Knits book recently and I’m loving it!
You look fantastic! I love that drop stitch top too, it’s going to be on the needles soon, but do you have any tips on how I can alter the neckline so I don’t have to do buttons?
Does the book have an ETA? “Fitted Knits” is incredible, so I can only imagine (and eagerly anticipate!) how fabulous “Glam Knits” will be.
On the drop-stitch tank, just omit the buttonholes and don’t do buttons.

It was so awesome meeting you in Lexington on Saturday. Seriously, meeting Glampyre and the Yarn Harlot on the same day satistfied my ultimate knitter celebrity fantasy! (And this is my first post after lurking for years!)

Loved hearing you on the panel in Lexington and meeting you . . . I can’t wait for Glam Knits, or more importantly, your third book! (Though Fitted Knits will keep me busy for awhile — once I figure out which colors to use for the simple two-tone shrug, it’s going to be on the needles!)
Glam Knits will be out around this time NEXT year. It’s expected to have a spring ‘08 release.
