I know it is a little bit late, but can I entice you with some Spincycle yarns for finishing the pattern as they are from my home town and I can walk right up to their booth at the farmers market! I Love that brown sweater!!!!

Stefanie - I want to add my congratulations - I hadn't commented before, but I wanted to let you know I'm excited for you. I'm 10 wks pregnant, too, and I'm going through a lot of the same things you are!

I'll be looking forward to the sweater pattern - but take your time! no rush - you've got bigger and better things brewing!

Sounds like you are doing great! Growing a baby is hard work! I was also REALLY tired, but I also had a MASSIVE appetite. I was slightly nauseous all day long but I still HAD to eat...especially carbs. Now though at 22 weeks my appetite has shrunk (good news for my thighs) and I feel great!!

Sounds like you are doing great. Growing a baby is hard work!!! I was really tired too and had the most ginormous appetite ever...even though I felt slightly nauseous all the time - I HAD TO EAT. Especially lots of carbs. Now I feel great though. Still tired sometimes, but unfortunately my appetite has shrunk....that's probably better for my thighs at least.

Congratulations! Hugo is a find name for a growing baby. Knitters can enjoy pregnancy more with the semi-instant gratification of knitting tiny baby things! Could a baby knit section of the Glampyre shop be on the horizon? The top-down raglan bunting!

Nice that pizza is one of the "approved" foods! :) I'm really happy that you'll be putting up your fabulous brown sweater at some point. I *loved* it when I saw it when the book arrived!

WARNING: Complete Baby-Oriented Comment

I decided to come out of lurking to say congratulations on your pregnancy! I discovered you and your knitting brilliance circa 2 years ago when I first learned to cast on, knit, and purl. Sadly, to date, I am still more an admirer of the magnificent pieces I view online and in magazines than an actual producer of finished knitted items (pathetic, right?). Anyway, I just want to give you words of encouragement. Despite your myomectomy, your body will do fine; it is hardwired, I believe, to do as it must. I say so because I had a myomectomy (more specifically, a laparoscopic abdominally-assisted myomectomy in August of 2005) and discovered I was pregnant on November 11, 2006. And despite the fears I had after learning that my procedure resulted in an almost complete transection of my uterus and bilateral uterine artery ligation, this little muffin, who will be called Samm, is thriving marvelously and actually a little larger than he need be (yippee!). I have to have amniocentesis to assess his lung functions previous to the Cesarean section at the end of June (06/25/07 to be exact), but these are nothing so long as our little guy is perfectly healthy. Please know, I, too, have NEVER been much of a baby person, BUT there is nothing like the joy I feel when I feel him squirming around inside and daydream of my spouse and I admiring the splendor of him. Oh, a big congratulations Stefanie! And welcome to the Mommy club. I now totally get those people who talk incessantly about their children; people who I used to just walk away from with rolling eyes.

Be well!!!!
