I love this, I was wondering which yarn you are mainly using for the baby knits? I am always on the lookout for super soft, but not 'too tiny' yarns for me and my daughter to knit with. I like these colors too. Kind of muted and soft, not so crayon-like. Baby blankets are great. That was my first 'real' knit. I made my punk rock hairdresser a black washable wool baby blanket. Yes, I said black. If you knew her ...she said she used it all all time. Of course, in San Diego, babies don't need a lot of blankets! When are you due? Thanks for all your wonderful knits. I am working on Mesilla right now. -J

Your baby knits are absolutely stunning, as anyone would expect. You can file this under the category of unsolicited advice, but if you still have the sewing bug sleep sacs & swaddle blankets are 2 items I wish I'd thought of for my daughter. They're pricey ($20 ea) and for her they've been essential.

You have been busy. Maybe a baby knits book next? I guess I did lots of baby sweaters while I was pregnant, but I had lots of other babies to knit for. My boy only has socks so far!

Your bombs look like you have too much water/liquid in them, that's what makes them pouf up like that after you make them. Cut back just a touch.

I have a pretty good base recipe that almost never fails me if you'd like to have it.
