Hi Stefanie,

I have been a long time admirer of your designs (your pattern for the "boob holder" inspired me years ago and was my first sweater!)

When I saw the lace scarf you posted a few months ago, my jaw dropped. Is that pattern avalable? It immediately reminded me of the scarf Scarlett Johansen's character made in
"Lost in Translation", a pattern I have wanted to make happen ever since. I would buy that pattern in a heartbeat.

Best of luck with your new baby and thank you for the wonderful work that you do!

I can't read this without suggesting my jughead hat or if you think he would dig it, the Mohawk hat in his team's colors!

Jughead is mindless knitting (one size but looks best on med and lg heads), mohawk is pretty durned hard.

Please forgive this shameless self promotion! I meant to send you a copy of my book, but I canNOT remember if I ever did. If I didn't, just e-mail me your address and I'll make it so.

Love,
domiKNITrix!

Check out brooklyntweeds projects on ravelry. He makes quite a few hats and scarves. Not all of the patterns are his, but they're all modeled. His photography makes everything look cool.

this one would be nice:
http://telastudio.com/pattern2.html
or this one:
http://teleknitter.blogspot.com/2006/01/manly-cable.html
they are textural and nice w/o being too froo-froo or bust. I'd think you could use the cable pattern from the scarf in the hat somehow, too-or just make a basic hat int he same yarn
