This little shrug pattern that I designed came out in the feature IK Weekend issue a couple of weeks ago:
Whirligig Shrug From IK Weekend

Finished Size 8 (9½, 11, 12½)" wide across back, to fit sizes 3 (6, 12–18, 24) months. Shrug shown measures 9½".
Yarn
Naturally Pride (100% superwash merino; 125 yd [114 m]/50 g): #106 khaki, 3 (3, 4, 4) skeins. Yarn distributed by Fiber Trends.
Needles
Size 6 (4 mm): 24" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions
Tapestry needle; markers (m); cable needle (cn).
Gauge 22 sts and 28 rows = 4" in St st.

That is adorable! I love having a boy but I don’t think he’d wear this.

I am just about finished however I’m having problems with the edging. How do you get the double roll? Do I pick up inside the edge?
