My name is Stefanie Japel. My first published pattern was “Postmodern Legwarmers” in 2003. Since then, I’ve been publishing patterns here on the site, and designing for yarn companies, magazines, and books.

How to join in on the fun
After the longest banhammer episode ever, comments are once again open. When I say “open” I mean you can leave comments, but you must register first. It’s easy! All you have to do is fill out a twee form with your name and email address. Your password will be emailed to that address, so you MUST use a valid email address. Once you have your randomly generated password and have logged in, you have the option of changing that password to something you can actually remember.
Comments are also moderated. What this means is your comments may not appear immediately because they have to be approved by one of us. I doubt you have anything to worry about unless you intend to post comment spam.
Abuse of the commenting system will not be tolerated, period.
